Houston, TX – August 27, 2014 – William Jacob Management, Inc. (WJM) an Design and Project Management service provider for the oil and gas industry, today announced that Edward Snyder, Manager of Instrument Design, successfully completed the University of Alaska course in “Fundamentals of Arctic Design” during the month of May, 2014.
The course is a prerequisite for securing an Alaska professional Design license. On August 20, 2014, Ms. Sarena E. Hackenmiller, Licensing Examiner with the Alaska Board of Architects, Engineers & Land Surveyors officially notified Mr. Snyder that his application for license as a Registered Engineer for the State of Alaska was approved.
Mr. Snyder has over 40 years of experience in designing, purchasing and commissioning instrumentation systems for both onshore and offshore facilities. Additionally, this has resulted in detailed design of safety systems to be in compliance with various federal and state regulations. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Math and is a registered professional engineer in the states of Texas and Alaska and has a current license from the T-2 API offshore safety school.
